Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises. It is good for us to be weird little guys, which is something society is so committed to stripping away.

I'm really sick and I can't even doomscroll on my phone to pass time cause it's more doom than I can handle in my current state. Sooooo I'm gonna try to sleep again and hope I don't have nightmares. Wish me luck. 😭
