I just did a 30 minute walk in 19F with a wind chill of 5F and let me tell you it sucked. I am wearing a "good" coat too. I can even conceive of below 0F
You people have no idea how cold -20F is. When I was sending volunteers to do visibility in -15F we staggered them in short shifts, maybe 30-40 minutes. We did gear checks - hats, socks, long underwear, gloves. One woman did a double shift. We had to get her to a hospital for hypothermia.

I find it very weird that people buy a month's worth of groceries for a 3 or 4 day snow event. There is literally nothing left on the shelves in multiple Philadelphia grocery stores.
Do you not realize you are screwing over your neighbors? Especially the poor people waiting on paychecks.

Mayor Cherelle L. Parker said that the city and federal government in 2006 signed a cooperative agreement that may require advance notice for changes to the site. The city is reviewing its options, she said.

Often I look at medical photography and illustration and I'm just awed and amazed by the art, by the detail of the human body, and by how complex human systems are.
