Second illustration from Cynthia Sheppard’s course at Smarter Artschool. The focus was on showing the story through characters interactions. I struggled a lot with ideas for the second part of the course, but I like what I came up with.
A grim illustration showing us a mysterious place. Children are standing in line, their heads bowed, l their parents behind them, holding them tensely. A weird old creature covered in a mix of rugs and jewelry, slowly goes by, gesturing towards one of them, a girl, marking their choice with creepy white hand, decorated with many bracelets. The girl is the only one looking at the creature, her face is tense but not scared.

New portfolio piece! This one took over a year to finish between making three whole books and other work, but I'm glad I didn't rush it.

Box art for Critical Role's Mighty Nein CLUE(DO). The Mighty Nein walk down a dark alley, surrounded by mysterious shadows. The image is an illustration of my original character, Avalice Tyr Niente y Praesul. A prominent ruling figure in my novel, as he is of nobility the painting depicts him in his ceremonial/coronation garbs. The image is an illustration of my original character, Reynir Ymir, in his younger years with a basket of freshly harvested hydrangeas. The symbolism in this piece alludes to his death in the story/roleplay i have with my brother. The text beneath my logo (Atelier Apricity) reads as: "Things will be different but you will be okay." The text on the halo surrounding Reynir reads as: "See you tomorrow Noi! I hope you stay true to yourself and live for you and I. Cherish our memory and go on with love." The text on the description reads: I sought love once— Only to find myself hollow. The image illustrates an angelic entity realizing how they are empty. Capable of giving love only to find out they themselves are incapable of receiving and being loved. The image is an illustration of a couple. They are Erenville and my original character, Reynir. The prompt for day 7 of Erenweek was Our Fate. The future is undetermined but together, they walk unafraid until their hearts beat their last.
