That's a lot of people! (bigger than the town i'm from)

I paint with watercolors, got very landscape feeling last year while messing around with abstract shapes. Deer is from night shots of deer in the yard, yellow green is a path by the house, flowers were from my garden.
strange deer with growths of branches and bones growing from his head like antlers. turquoise, gold and white. very calm and watchful brackish colored landscape of trees in a forest, and roots or shadows underneath a slash of gray grassy land. three abstract organic forms. one is green and blue, looks like curling seaweed, next is green and yellow, shaped like an eye, and the last is vivid pink, weird growing shapes. shasta daisy studies of flowers that goofed up in some way, one is doubled up flowers on a single stem, the other has petals like a messed up mouth of badly growing teeth.

I'm Torres, I love fairy tales and whimsical creatures in eerie and moody atmosphere
"Regret" presents Beatrice, a character from the animated series Over the Garden Wall. Beatrice was cursed after throwing a rock at a bluebird: all her 12 relatives, as well as her, were transformed into bluebirds. The illustration shows us her transformation, looking in shock and crying as her right arm transforms into a bird's wing. She stands in front of a dark forest, the deep orange of autumn slowly being consumed by cyan and blue. Flying around her and into the forest we spot 12 bluebirds. Anyone remembering the big improvement memes? This one keeps escalating; but it's grounding to look back from time to time. Sometimes when I'm questioning whether or not I'm stuck, I tell myself: I've come this far, why shouldn't I be able to go further? Somehow things keep going

periodically I'll see a backlash that goes a little too far or seems kinda unfair. i never say anything because i think we need to be kinda unhinged and zealous in our response to this shit. I'd take an honest-to-God crusade against this stuff over letting it proliferate.
