I haven't sold anything on ebay for years

I'm trying to sell something and I'm getting messages from accounts that are either numpties or scammers. It's hard to know

Now planning a hasty retreat

Hurrah! The area outside one of London's prime tourist attractions will no longer be an embarrassment of a pavement far too small for the number of people, illegal ice cream vans and taxis trying to do three-point turns.
Cramped footpaths no longer. Camden Council plans to pedestrianize the street in front of the British Museum.

Wow what a view.

I've been up to the top of Caradoc once. I hope I will have an opportunity to go up again
Early morning on the summit of Caradoc, on a day when it was so cold that the water in this pool had turned to ice. This is the view looking towards the Lawley, with the unmistakeable shape of the Wrekin standing out on the horizon. Shrewsbury and Haughmond Hill are on the horizon to the left,

Some richly caparisoned horses here, and a bonus ecclesiastical mule.

I love these little glimpses back in time and this one is very detailed

All very laudable and it will not be easy or quick.

Patients are getting older and care is more complex so I'm pleased to see there's a good budget for it.

How long do you think it will it take to put in place?
📝 Our £1.2bn plan would create more than 6,000 extra beds by:

🎯 Investing in 1,000 more staffed hospital beds,
🎯 Creating 1,600 “safety net” social care places,
🎯 Releasing 1,200 beds a day through better step down care,
🎯 Freeing up 2,500 beds by cutting readmissions and hospital stay length,

I must have been 'sick' on a school day, because I watched this at home. It was gripping
People missed work and whole schools were shepherded into their assembly halls so they could watch television footage of a shipwreck being raised on a Monday morning.

This is where we are these days. Looking, absorbing and trying to understand strategic defence positions in the polar regions
An especially good map.

If this works out he might create a new market for all kinds of awards.

I wonder what the price will be for an Oscar?
I thought Trump would never get the Nobel Peace Prize. He's about to prove me wrong!

Another image of the Gundestrup cauldron

#ridersonsmallhorses
Vi er ikke helt færdige med Aars, hvor usandsynlig det end måtte lyde, men nu blev der jo fundet et bette sølvkar fra jernalderen i 1871. Karret har bare en diameter på 70 cm og er dermed et af de største i Europa.

Oh wow, look! Horses, riders and multiple carnyx's.

Is there a more appropriate plural for carnyx?

#ridersonsmallhorses
This summer I got to see the Gundestrup cauldron for the first time in Denmark, famous for depicting carnyces actually being played. There are many depictions of the instrument from antiquity, but most are in piles of Roman war booty…
