I’m taking pitches about memberships, subscriptions and communities for March publication.

Pitch me something specific, timely and interesting. Nothing generic about how your whole membership works

Can confirm this too on the Chicago side. Running red lights, speeding, and deliberately brake checking….in a school zone.
There are so very many things that are fucked up about how things are in Minnesota right now and it is hard to tell what the outside world knows about.

The street blockades may seem odd . . . if you haven't seen the way ICE & CBP drive.

It feels like a miracle that Trump’s thugs in Minneapolis haven’t killed more people, honestly.
ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”

What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.

Facebook launched 22 years ago this week.

In 2025, Meta paid an effective federal tax rate of 3.5% — its lowest on record.

Meanwhile, Meta is pumping at least $65 million into super PACs to stifle regulation of AI and tech.

Trickle-down economics isn't just a hoax, it's corrosive to democracy.

More importantly will this affect the sale of Casey Wasserman's home, which has been on the market for 136 days. Price recently cut by $2.5 million!

This is all stupid bullshit but I remain pretty disgusted at how things like marriage and having children are treated like Xbox achievements instead of actually loving and caring for someone else. Yeah I’m going to work 70 hours a week but definitely need a spouse, her name is Beth or something idk

3. ICE is using government data from state DMVs and federal agencies and refuses to answer questions about how that data is used. I'm also leading that fight in the Senate to rein them in, and warned states that care about their residents to stop sharing DMV data with ICE.

America is blessed with a world class megacity that has a perfect year-round climate and is mostly in a flat basin. And this is the best we can do for bicycles.
This is exactly the problem with 99% of bike infrastructure implementation in the US.

It is done opportunistically or paired with repaving on a piece-by-piece basis, rather than implemented *as a network first*.

This is how you get a bike network in Los Angeles like this.

Had a pretty convincing scam call from a lady pretending to be from my mobile operator.

Said there was a Jan promotion of 20% off — did I want in?

And if so, I’d get a six digit code texted to me. Which immediately came (from my real operator’s SMS)…
