What a vile creep.
"My most vivid memories of my school life is Farage repeatedly coming up to me, knowing that I was Jewish, saying 'Hitler was right' and 'gas em' and that was frequently followed by imitating the sound of escaping gas."

The failure to tackle far right hate, incitement & violence in the UK is existential. No society can remain free where such nihilistic thuggery is allowed free rein. Bowing to the rise of such ‘politics’ is to fan the flames.

You can see who he was following in this report. Of course, the UK govt would have to designate those who incite hate, from the far right, as terrorists. Unfortunately it hasn’t got time, what with all the Northern Irish musicians & trans ppl it’s targeting.

Interesting to see the reporting around the man who drove into a parade of Liverpool FC fans. According to one paper, he followed far right individuals on Twitter. Why isn’t he on a terrorist charge? Do White ppl [excluding Queer ones] get White-washed in the English courts?

This is the scandal. Trump isn’t targeting dangerous people. He’s targeting peaceful immigrants. Almost exclusively.

Exasperating to the last Tory Government - and a certain campaigning magistrate - that juries kept acquitting peaceful protestors against planetary destruction. What better way to solve that problem than by abolishing juries - who knows what they might do otherwise to eg Palestine Action protestors.

This is the thing to hang onto - I’m glad people are appalled by Farage’s Nazi sympathies now, but the fact is, he was able to present TV programmes and constantly appear as a sofa guest for decades, booked by people who knew it all. We must reckon with that.
Evidence of Farage’s unabashed youthful racism has been in the public domain since at least 2013, yet somehow he has been allowed to remain part of the British political conversation. The fact he wasn’t driven back under a rock years ago has emboldened racists across the country to spread hatred.

This should be a major scandal. The Blaze falsely reported that a former U.S. Capitol Police officer was the Jan. 6th pipe bomber. But it wasn’t just another miss by conservative media promoting conspiracies.

Someone in US intel - at ODNI - was promoting it:

ICE has just under four years to spend $29.9 billion, they are going to outsource AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE to contractors because money is essentially not a problem anymore for the agency.
NEW: ICE has torn up its $180M cap on a proposed immigrant-tracking program and is now guaranteeing private surveillance firms at least $7.5M each, with potential payouts reaching $281M per vendor. The change signals a shift from “pilot” to full-scale outsourcing of street-level investigative work.

Labour are putting in place all of the tools and eliminating fundamental protections that will enable Reform to come in 2029 and govern in an overtly fascist and totalitarian way. No jury trials, digital ID, elimination of the ECHR etc. It feels intentional.

This will only end badly.

Three things about the Witkoff tapes:

1) It appears Western intelligence services have decided to let Witkoff (and Trump) know they have recordings of their traitorous conversations w/Russia.

2) This Ukraine "deal" was all Witkoff's idea.

3) Congressional leaders should demand he be fired.
