In 2024, AC Transit's hydrogen bus fleet achieved an availability rate of 43% (for the 2018 variety) and 64% (for the 2022 variety). Essentially you need twice as many hydrogen buses as service you want to run actransit.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=...

It appears AC Transit is poised to open the door to DHS and ICE engaging in immigration enforcement (and "election security"?) at its facilities. Tucked in the agreement for this grant are new provisions around the "border crisis" and "election security"

BART service wouldn't meltdown if California funded transit.
In July @governor.ca.gov promised an emergency loan to stop Bay Area transit cuts.
But with just a few days left to issue the loan and Newsoms hasn't made good on his promise.
