The news on LBC reporting on the BBC / Trump.

And of course, they had to get Farage in to talk about, but no other MP.

Bias? Too bloody right!

I decided to spend this remembrance day educating myself about the sacrifices we're supposed to be remembering.

I now live on the atlantic coast of France, so decided to learn something about of the second world war here.

As a result, I've been down the most amazing rabbit hole of discovery...

The signs from Australia (their worst flu season on record), Japan (where they’ve had to close schools) and India indicate that this could be a long, drawn out flu season here with hospitals at capacity

That WW2 veteran who says that winning the war "wasn't worth it" for the state we are now in is just plain wrong.

Naziism was an evil that caused the deaths of millions and the systematic murder of millions more. Defeating it was necessary.

We need to stop treating every old person as a holy sage.

Right Wingers / Republicans are losing their minds over Mamdani's win in NYC.

Their backers are spending a ton of money creating AI videos & pictures, insulting the people that voted for Mamdani. They're all over socials.

SWMBO's cat is at least 18 years old (probably a bit older).

He seems to be suffering from some form of cat dementia.

We clean out the litter tray, and he walks over, sniffs it, and then puts his front paws in the tray, back paws outside; and wees all over the floor.

Frustrating!

I hope the BBC will challenge Nigel Farage today over the economic damage caused by the Brexit he championed.

He needs to be held to account for the damage he's done instead of always being given an easy ride.

The voting system is pretty good, the recommended candidate list looks reasonable, and giving the chair your proxy votes against the ‘Restore Trust’ (🤢)-backed insurance motion, which is frankly unhinged.

Takes seconds. Please vote.
If you're a member of the National Trust remember to vote for council members by midnight tonight.

Use the Quick Vote option.

I saw for myself, the work done by the British Council. Really impressive what they did with such a small budget.
Literally one of the greatest soft power brands on planet earth driven into the ground by successive British governments that embrace failure, decline and irrelevance.

Of course she has. The small matter of owing £122 million to UK taxpayers for her disgusting profiteering in a global pandemic means nothing to Michelle Mone.

NHS staff died in my hospital from the Covid they caught there - her dodgy PPE racket was vile.

I've set-up & managed the IT for a number of SMEs.

Most of the work was done in-house. I trained the IT staff & allowed them to go on courses, plus gave them scope to practice.

In each case, dragging the company (sometimes kicking & screaming) into the 21st century.

Over 170,000 children living in temporary accommodation is a national disgrace. Children need safe, warm, stable homes to thrive - when will Labour grasp the nettle on this?

We need to unfreeze the local housing allowance and seriously invest in social housing, now.

Unfortunately, I broke a tooth 10 years ago. The patch on it was good, but that came off.

I've just had the tooth removed, and prepped for a bridge.

One of best dental appointments I've ever had. Really good dentist, not much discomfort.

Back this afternoon for temp bridge.

Eight Reform UK councils have indicated that they will raise council tax next year after struggling to find huge cuts in public spending.

That’s despite Reform UK flyers during the Local Elections criticising councils for doing just that.
