Norms and the good chap theory haven't held.

Time to toughen up I think. Labour could have hounded Gibb out via social media, day one.

Politico: "Veteran BBC presenter David Dimbleby told Channel 4 last night that it is “one of the most violent assaults on the BBC’s independence that I’ve seen in my lifetime,” while Playbook is told staff have been voicing “a lot of anger towards [right wing BBC board member] Robbie Gibb.”

There are people on these islands who support a leader in a foreign land that is behaving like a dictator, causing harm to people

They would, in a flash, copy those policies & tactics here across these 4 Nations.

Yes, problems need correcting

Imagine giving the global Billionaire Oligarchs more!

Reminder that Tim Davie, who's just resigned as BBC Director-General, stood in an election for the Tories in Hammersmith, was deputy chairman of the Hammersmith and Fulham Conservative Party and in 2020 spent his first day in the job visiting BBC Scotland in Glasgow.

Why does this happen so quickly when it's Trump that's the 'injured party' but nothing happened whilst the BBC continuously and relentlessly lies about Scotland and the Scottish government? Now take Gibb with you as well!

Given the circumstances John Swinney did a good job but I would have mentioned the obvious bias against anything the ScotGov does. I'd call them out live on air.

They talk a lot about BBC bias on the BBC in the last couple of days but as usual it's never about anti ScotGov & anti Indy bias.
