It’s all about the number of second votes we get and of course the number of FPTP seats we achieved.
The calculation is based on #secondvotes / #seats +1 so the division will increase when you also win a list seat. The idea is maximising your list vote to gain seats as you get to the 3rd-6th list

You are of course assuming that all Regional Seats go to SNP this may not be the case with Reform coming in this time . Again to protect Independence you need to vote SNP 1&2

I don’t agree particularly in marginal seats. However the stats & history show that a high % 2nd vote results in more SNP seats. Particularly when we have splits between Reform , Labour and Tory Unionists.

Investment was London Centric.
Scotland has decades of net migration
Oil was discovered in the 60’s the decline continued.
