Banning the 🇪🇺 only shows the post #Brexit British insecurity and provincialism.
As we discuss flags and their meaning and values, the 🇪🇺 is banned in the U.K. according to a 2021 Boris Johnson law still in place under Starmer.

But the flag represents everything for people in Ukraine, or Budapest, Romania or Tbilisi. 👇

Rubio has been thinking about how to move the game pieces to the places needed to bring down the Cuban regime for 30 years.

Trump has experienced cognitive collapse and Vance is sinking into very online groyper delusions, but Rubio is an intelligent and ruthless operator not to be underestimated.
Best take I’ve heard, IRL: “This operation looks like it was designed by the same people who did the East Wing.”
This makes the Iraq War seem well planned.

Worth noting that the Rubio/Miller administration's plans for Venezuela are entirely dependent now on the regime and opposition not fracturing into rival factions willing to use armed violence to destroy their rivals
"Senior Venezuelan government officials, led by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez...have quietly promoted a series of initiatives in recent months aimed at presenting themselves to Washington as a “more acceptable” alternative to Nicolás Maduro’s regime...funneled through intermediaries in Qatar."
Exclusive: Venezuelan leaders offered U.S. a path to stay in power without Maduro
Delcy and Jorge Rodríguez used Doha backchannels to offer Washington a 'Cartel Light' plan for a managed Venezuela transition that keeps chavismo in power.

Leadership 👇
Oh look, a leader with a backbone…

Spanish PM Sánchez has stated that Spain will neither recognize the govt of Nicolás Maduro nor support any U.S. military intervention in Venezuela, warning that such action would violate international law and endanger regional stability.

Also many Pan LatAm companies have their HQ in Florida…

Maybe someone will propose a plan to expand and strengthen the current cooperation and make the LatAm region stronger than US.
Note: Latin America is TWICE the size and has TWICE the population of US.

The failure of those leaders in Latin America to allow themselves to be subservient to the US is a story in itself.

All had similar histories: former colonies of European powers got independence more than 200 years ago.

How many bets the Trump administration echoes the blunders of early 2000s US strategy by going for Cuba before they have gotten a grip on matters in Venezuela?
WELKER: Is the Cuban government the Trump administration's next target?

MARCO RUBIO: Well, the Cuban government is a huge problem. Yeah.

WELKER: Is that a yes?

RUBIO: I think they're in a lot of trouble, yes

FoM also acts a a social valve.

The acclaimed TV series “Auf Wiedersehen, Pet” portrays unemployed Brits in the 1980s (can someone remind me who was PM then?) leaving Britain for Germany.

The 1980s was a period of massive emigration.

I see this argument a lot, that 98% of Brits ”didn’t use their Freedom of Movement rights during the EU years”.

This argument is false.

Take Vodafone for example.

Vodafone has expanded massively I the EU using all 4 freedoms, including FoM.

1/2
98% of Britons don’t use their reciprocal rights but 100% of Britons see nationals of other EU states using their rights in their communities.

Right to FOM only becomes conditional after 3 months.

If a campaign to rejoin revolves around these sorts of angels on pinhead points, we will lose again.

Please someone tell Trump his best pal Putin has a home over there.
The Japanese Ministry of Defense reports that two North Korean ballistic missiles were launched last night and landed somewhere what is currently Russia's EEZ. Both projectiles flew in "irregular trajectories", indicating something out of the ordinary, like a malfunction.
