The left has a problem with political violence. Anyway, here’s the President of the United States saying his political opponents should be executed.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. There’s no vote required if he wants to release them!

The only reason the house was voting was because he refused.

This is an obviously cynical ploy and major news outlets are running whole pieces without pointing this out. He could release them tonight.
If he has nothing to hide he doesn’t need a House vote. He can just release everything.

CNN reports that only 2% of the 600+ people arrested without probable cause or warrants in the Chicagoland area in violation of a standing court order had any criminal records at all.

The idea that these are the worst people on the planet only makes sense if you see them as Nazis saw Jews in 1940.

Powerful words from @robertgarcia.bsky.social.
"There is a lot more." Rep. Garcia shares the DOJ is hoarding files from federal Epstein investigations. "Photographs, possibly videos, they have information we need to actually bring justice to the survivors and to implicate the wealthy and powerful men that abused and raped children and women."

The Kremlin disguised a nearly $100 mn payment to Trump in the form of a brokered real estate deal... and both Jeffrey Epstein and William Pulte were involved in the deal. That's very interesting.

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

I wish I cared about anything with the passion that the Trump administration cares about making sure people starve.
⚠️ Feds sent a late night memo demanding states “immediately undo” any actions to provide full SNAP benefits.

(It’s unclear if there will be an effort to claw back benefits already distributed, but an expert says such efforts would not be legal.)

Apparently they didn’t lose badly enough in this week’s elections.
"You must allow us to starve poor people because then Democrats will let us take away their health insurance" is a hell of a message for a president and his party, but there it is.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

- U.S. families paying thousands for tariffs
- China makes not a single concession

I think Joe nailed it here.
“The Democratic Party is back?” No, Mr Minority Leader, DEMOCRATIC VOTERS ARE PISSED OFF. That’s the lesson from yesterday. Dem voters, not the Dem Party, carried the day yesterday. And it’s been this way since Trump won. Dem voters understand this moment. The Party doesn’t.
