Have any of the beloved homies had experience with connecting flights in Amsterdam on the way back to the US from Europe?
If you have, I could use some advice!

Seattle's Mamdani is winning by an absurdly small margin over our incumbent mayor, who once pulled a gun on a pregnant woman in a parking lot.

I will also note that Sam Darnold turning into a pumpkin for the Seahawks during the Divisional Round would be worth it if Katie wins.
I’ll just go ahead and say that a @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social win would be worth all of the Mariners, Reign and Sounders playoff losses put together, imo.

dog, the problem here is that the “fighting each other” is happening because some of the folks included in that “each other” decided to fight for the other side in the “bigger fight” you’re worried about
But there are real dangers out there that must be fought; and energy spent fighting each other is energy lost to that bigger fight.

The Sounders have about $4.25M in salary cap hit (so not including anyone on the supplemental roster) either out of contract or with an option for 2026. That’s a TON of potential maneuverability if they want it. It’s about 35% of their total cap spend, plus whatever GAM/TAM is used beyond the cap

A really brutal way for it to end, but this season’s been a ton of fun to cover.
We’re not done yet, as there will be plenty to write about between now and the start of next season, but thanks to everyone who’s followed along.

Sounders were far too wasteful in their Game 3 loss to Minnesota United. www.sounderatheart.com/2025/11/lost...
Lost to the Loons: Sounders drop deciding game in shootout
Sounders blow early 2-0 lead then miss two chances to win in penalties.

tbh, that’s a red not a yellow on Boxall. not a ‘professional’ or ‘tactical’ foul, that’s a cynical potential leg breaker, especially taking a second bite at Morris after already having gotten him.

Booing a player because your guy 1) dove, then 2) kicked out at him, and finally 3) head butted him is a really good bit.

a woman trying to get an autograph from Rosales as he heads down the tunnel after his red is one of the funniest things I’ve seen on a broadcast in a LONG time

Think it’s gone way under the radar how bad Yeimar has been. Would be totally fine moving on from him after this season

it turns out that a game plan almost entirely predicated on absorbing chances might not be a good one, even if it’s had pretty good results.
