On top of his despicable views, loathsome policies, and eager attempts to cozy up with other prominent fascists, I don’t understand how this guy’s whole vibe doesn’t immediately register as “BAD” for people. This is the human equivalent of a neon-colored poisonous frog. He is purely villain-coded.

Georgi Minoungou isn’t a perfect 1:1 comparison for a number of reasons, but since they’re both wingers who have come through Defiance I think he’s worth using as a reference point for Gomez.
In 11 fewer appearances, Gomez has 19 goals+assists to Minoungou’s 18 goals+assists.

I’m sure this whole ASG-skipping thing is all gonna lead to zero problems, and that Miami wouldn’t try to make those problems that won’t happen everyone else’s issue when a famously super reasonable and not at all petulant superstar decides he doesn’t want to be there any longer than he has to be
