It's Personal News Notes App post time.

(ok actually it was time weeks ago, but it is still also time now)
There's good timing and then there's launching a soccer advanced data app right after FBref is gutted

I was a part of @postsports.bsky.social for nearly five years. I’ve been a reader and an admirer for much longer than that.

My former colleagues there do work that’s important to DC, the country and the whole sports world. They deserve so much better than what’s being reported. #SaveThePost

In November 2025 Polymarket deleted a tweet from its official account that used an anti-Indian slur.
MLS and the Leagues Cup now have a sponsorship deal with Polymarket.

"The partnership includes safeguards designed to protect the integrity of MLS and Leagues Cup matches, including independent monitoring of trading activities and collaboration on MLS and Leagues Cup markets offered."

Also, for those of you who need to maintain precision over your international roster spot anxiety:

13 internationals, 8 spots.

(matters like this get sorted, and it's ~5.5 weeks before you need to actually worry, but I know you're out there worrying)
Haley Carter told media at Trinity Rodman's contract announcement that another move was coming on Monday.

Well, it's Monday, & Paraguay FW Claudia Martínez has officially signed a 3-year deal, with a club-held option for 2029. Unspecified (but likely quite high) transfer fee paid to Club Olimpia.

Gotham is obviously boosting an already excellent roster, and adding a profile they didn't really have to their attack to boot.

IMO them, the Spirit, & Louisville are the best-positioned teams for the crowded pre-World Cup segment of the season.
📰 #GothamFC has signed decorated Florida State University forward and U.S. youth international Jordynn Dudley to a multi-year contract through 2028.

Terry Crews is progressively incorporating more and more of Dwayne Camacho into every ad and public appearance. He's gonna call Martin Brundle "scro" on a grid walk sometime in the back half of the coming F1 season, I can feel it.

Excellent work from @pcattry.bsky.social, who got the most informative quotes anyone has gotten on the HIP rule from Berman and Burke.

Berman stating that "in my best judgment, my fundamental responsibility is to be a responsible steward of capital" is illustrative of the last ~3 years of NWSL.
NWSL's Berman defends HIP rule as NWSLPA plans grievance
The NWSL's high impact player rule, which allows teams to spend $1 million on the salaries of eligible players, is currently the subject of a grievance from the players association

Immigration is a fake problem. We have politicians on the one hand who want to use immigrants as scapegoats for our real ones and politicians on the other who are too cowardly to stand against them and tell the truth. That is the entire situation. Until that changes, people will continue to die.
