Last week, I posted a small survey that looked at FBref alternatives in an attempt to assess what resources remain for women’s soccer fans. For @theixsports.bsky.social, I expanded that survey, and the results are grim. Here’s what that means for the future of woso data and coverage:

I 100% support throwing any negotiating power behind the sell on. Once the fee hit 3m, there’s no point in pushing for more.
$3.5m and a 20% sell-on is great work for a guy who's entering the final year of his deal and could leave for free 12 months from now (sign a pre-contract in the summer).
Doubly so b/c they don't win a title last year – and make literally $10m extra on the way to it – if they'd sold him last summer

It's really hard to understate how grateful I am for an event like @americansoccerinsights.com. This past weekend was extraordinary and it wouldn't have been possible without the Summit. The content was exceptional and now I have to comb through 5+ pages of notes lol.
