I thought Alan Sugar promised us that if Labour got into government he would leave Britain? He's about as honest as Netanyahu.
Good of the BBC to warn us that The Apprentice is going to be back on TV

Stephen’s reaction in #TheTraitors task is rather lovely. Claudia’s jokey response is, too.

Leslye Headland made a Star Wars that focused on nuanced themes and topics, and because of media illiteracy, the show made it increasingly obvious that Star Wars audiences have been comfortable with the very direct, simple themes up to that point. (Sans andor because I know y’all like to tussle.)

There are definitely things to be called out for, but man, I've seen too many people driven away with pitchforks over the slightest thing. Like figure out what battles need to be fought, man.
At a certain point, social media became such that content creators, performers, and artists all found themselves held hostage by a herd mentality that will happily boost their work one day and then rip them to shreds the next over something so trivial or immaterial.

It's been difficult to watch.

It really says something about the intellectual curiosity of the far right that they always miss the fundamental themes that have been a hallmark of Star Trek for 60 years.

There's so many ideals in Star Trek we could strive for. A post-scarcity society. Interplanetary travel in search of a simple connection between cultures. They want a revenge porn machine.
"We want to make Star Trek real," said Elon Musk.

"We want to make Starfleet Academy real so that it's not always science fiction, but one day the science fiction turns to science fact."

I know this isn't an original observation but it's just incredible to me how the internet has become a store where the moment you walk in the door every employee starts shouting different sales pitches for things you don't want, all at the same time

Elon Musk and xAI's Grok got suspended by Indonesia because the country not only has -- but will actually enforce -- a regulation that tries to protect people from having their images used in rampant AI generated CSAM / NCII, apparently... www.cnbc.com/2026/01/10/i...
Indonesia temporarily blocks access to Elon Musk's Grok over sexualized images
The move comes after governments and regulators from Europe to Asia have condemned and some have opened inquiries into sexualized content on the app.

At a time when the US is proving to be actively working against our national interests, and our dependence on the US for aircraft and missile supply and support is raising massive concern, this is a truly perverse decision.
Yet another huge contract, awarded without any competitive bidding process, to Wes Streeting's favourite NHS supplier, the Hard Right US surveillance tech specialists Palantir, for military decision making capability.
Palantir lands biggest ever UK defense deal
The £240 million contract with the Ministry of Defence has renewed a debate about Britain’s dependence on American technology.
