Not tagging him, because I suspect he finds this sort of post excruciating — but my podcast find of the year is Andrew Hickey’s A History of Rock Music in 500 Songs. My brain feels rewired so I listen to music I love differently. Also, there’s hundreds of hours of music I’d never considered before.

A weird quirk as my mother has aged is she has become increasingly incapable of watching a film with me without insisting we then watch the lead actor play a different role immediately after. "He's the hero in this and a bad guy in that, you won't believe it" - it's like she's just discovered acting
