Musician, writer, poet, photographer, naturist, gay, married, campervanner, atheist, BN members. Proudly woke.

My work may be mediocre but at least I'm human.

I enjoy nature, travel, books, films, good food and wine, preferably naked.

There are already more than enough residential buildings to house everyone in this country.

Of course, no MP would ever suggest the banning of second and third homes as any kind of solution, because that would mean they'd lose theirs.

So I saw a comment on Reddit and had to write an essay about it

"You can be a girl if you want to" is useless if you don't know what wanting to be a girl looks like.

If lesbians make you sad, read this one

It's Small Business Saturday!

We know Amazon serves up irresistible deals, but a closer look at the label reveals unsavoury ingredients - including tax avoidance, worker mistreatment, and a deeply corrosive impact on our community shops.

Ditched Spotify & Amazon this year. This is not me preaching or signalling. It's increasingly hard to detach ourselves from all the complex forms of evil that make our lives so convenient. I'm not great at it, myself. But I want to be better & I don't want to support a system that shits on artists.

Avoid Amazon. Shop Small!

Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday. We hope you can get down to a brilliant local indie bookshop. If not, snap up a book and support indie booksellers with us - and you're in with the chance of winning a £250 Bookshop.org gift card.

Support bookshops, not billionaires.

It's wild how some read our satire about men centering their genitals in photos & equate it to “all male nudity is banned forever.”

Relax. It's not misandry.

We’re just asking a small group of guys to stop letting their penis do the socializing.

Why Men Think Their Penis Is Special (And Why No One Else Does)
We discuss why men think their penis is special. The rest of us? Not so much. A naturist comedy about ego, delusion, and why context matters.

A family friend lost their dog a couple of days ago, and I think reading this has helped.
I've taken the paywall off this eulogy I wrote for my magical, mysterious ex-stray cat George - who died last year - in case anybody would like a read.

It was very, very hard to write but I think it might be my favourite thing I’ve ever written about cats.

The model effects in ALIENS are so effective you don't realise that they're using puppets in the final boss fight on the Sulaco. It's so well done, will pitch perfect lighting that marries the marionettes with the full-size action superbly.

These physical effects are a testament to talent.
