If you swing the cost, get a passport card at the same time as you get your passport book. I didn't and I regret it. These days you can never have too much documentation of citizenship. I hate that it's this way but...

FINALLY had a chance to sit down and watch the new MUPPET SHOW and LOVED it.
Some random thoughts and first impressions:
First, it only took about three seconds before I got teary, welling up in the opening theme as the characters recreated the original shot for shot. Got me right in the feels.

In the concentration camp universe, this is what's known as a filtration camp. A government preemptively takes a whole class of people to interrogate and detain extrajudicially in order to inflict duress on them while arbitrarily assessing their (supposed) culpability.
This is a truly horrifying memo. It says that the policy of the US government will now be to proactively seek out and arrest likely tens of thousands of refugees who entered legally under Biden and subject them to detention, where they will be interrogated about their status.

Korea definitely did not kill all the Japanese Nazi-equivalents after Liberation. In fact, we (well, our new American feudal lords) gave them all jobs in the bureaucracy, academia, industry, and even the arts. Took them out like batteries of one imperial machinery and plugged them into another.
