Just tried to sign into my Apple account and having watched A House of Dynamite I can now confirm that my Apple TV history is more secure than the US nuclear codes.

There's people having notions over here.
I am calling upon the people of Ireland to immediately begin construction of a thread on this site about how you or someone you know was roasted for a fashion choice. We need it.

All roasts must have come from Irish people *only*. Please respect this important rule, it makes a difference.

You should probably also read their reply for full details.
It's a little known fact that Otis Redding spent time in Hoy, #Orkney during the 1920s while engineer Ernest Cox carried out salvage work on the scuttled German fleet, as shown in this photograph.

Apparently Otis was often seen sitting on the dock in Mill Bay, watching the tide roll away.

In related news, the London Road Brighton branch of Oxfam gets ridiculous amounts of vinyl each week, anything of value is wildly under priced because the volunteers don't always know whtt they're doing.

(it's me. I'm volunteers)
If you’re in the market for some vintage vinyl, or for a man in his fifties who likes vintage vinyl, the Groovy Fayre at the Mildmay Club, Newington Green, is currently packed to the rafters with both

In contrast to my previous post, the phrase "significantly bedonked" has increased my net happiness.

(do also read her previous post looking for recommendations)
also happy for recs of what’s currently somewhat in style, bearing in mind a) I’m very femme b) significantly bedonked c) if I’m wearing trousers it’s because I’m probably working in or on a roof that day, so ideally jeans/hardwearing fabric

STOP POSTING COOL THNGS WITHOUT ALT TEXT YOU ARE MAKING ME SAD.
November 8, 2025 at 12:44 PM
Wouldn't normally repost without alt text but couldn't resist.

Two pictures. First is a dog wearing a neck cone, the sort they have to wear after a visit to the vet. The dog's body language makes them look very sad. The next is the same dog in a little cone shaped teepee. They look very happy.
