Today marked only our second-ever wild beaver release, as a family and a pair of Eurasian beavers were introduced at two sites across the Holnicote Estate on Exmoor in Somerset.

Did you know that in the past, cyclamens were used as love charms?

There's certainly lots to love about the blooms that bring a dash of colour to winter.

The garden has woken up from its winter slumber and it’s a delight to have the arrival of these beautiful snowdrops which seem to be thriving in the somewhat sodden ground.

Last year, helped by volunteers and visitors, the team at Wallington in Northumberland planted their *1 millionth* snowdrop. It was part of a ten year project and the site is now a destination for snowdrop spotting, with the welcome bloom carpeting the woodlands.
