🤩Brilliant from @labourlewis.bsky.social.bsky.social on Thames Water.

⁉️ Is your MP OK with sewage until 2040 ⁉️

✉️ We've written an open letter to Ofwat and the Environment Secretary, urging them to reject the Thames Water creditors' deal

✍️ Make sure your MP's name is on it.

Back in the beforetimes of 2021, over on the other place, I set out to answer the age old question "is my wankpanzer bigger than a tank". Here are those findings for the Bluesky record.
Q1. Is my Ford Ranger bigger than a tank?
A. Not quite but getting there.

Quite a thread. #Skystorians
So, part of my job is to see what people are making of the history of our Hospital.

Bethlem partly exists in the gothic, horror-adjacent end of history, and so attracts a certain kind of presentation.

Restraints, gore, electrodes, I thought I'd seen it all. Until...

...I stumbled onto this book.

Trump has lost his mind. His speeches are insane, misspelled ravings about the 2020 election, filled with bad grammar and shotgun caps. If this guy were a mayor in Anytown, USA, he would be told politely but firmly to surrender the gavel and get medical help.

What the hell is this guy doing in our Parliament? It's really a disgrace.
Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House, to the UK parliament,

"The best solution to the problem of free speech, is always more speech"

"We need the British people to be great, proud and patriotic"

"The surest way to protect the special relationship is to renewal to our foundational principles"

"Under the weather" is a funny way to spell "chicken"
Farage is apparently 'under the weather' today and unable to talk about the US threats to the UK and Europe over Greenland.

Which is unfortunate.

Trump’s tariffs and threats mean it’s make your mind up time. If we can’t rely on America and we don’t want to cozy up to China, the answer is to get serious about our strategic future with Europe. NATO needs this too - the reset must be real, and it must happen quickly for all our sakes.

This photo was taken in 1911 using glass plate technology by Herbert Ponting who was part of Scott's Antarctic expedition,

The composition and detail are exquisite with the band of white snow/ice creating a perfect frame around the two people and the ship in the distance

Iconic imo

It's the story of a banana.

BBC report at a headline level that Grok will now not make sexually exploitative images any more. An actual reporter comes on and explains that it will do no such thing, and will just make the images invisible in the UK. These are two very, very different things.
