Speaking as an older woman, this is patronising drivel. Age doesn’t automatically equal vulnerable. Yes, my kids see caring for me as an act of love - we’ve discussed it. I, though, can’t think of anything I’d like less, for my sake as well as theirs, and I’ve already done all I can to prevent it.
