Invisible woman of a certain age.
Pinned
She was a magnificent cat.

The last but one photo taken of Miss Ronnie, who passed away last Saturday.

Her excellent headbutts, and judgemental hard stares are much missed. I am devastated.

The finale of the great TV comedy show Blackadder goes Forth.
Back then I didn't expect one of the funniest programmes ever to end with a scene that makes me cry every time I see it.
Every single time.

On this #RemembranceSunday, we are sharing a list of staff on active service in the armed forces during WWI as well as a roll of honour for those who died in service. This image was taken from the 1918-1919 Swansea and West Wales Technical College Calendar which is held in our archives.

Happy 423 years of us! 🎉 📚

The Bodleian Libraries opened for the first time on 8 November 1602...

This means, we're older than the refracting telescope (1608), the publication of Shakespeare's Hamlet (1623) and Sir Isaac Newton's apple (1666)! 😅
