You are lying.
Snippets that omit context aren't actual quotes. Kirk never said gays should be stoned, he never said he didn't want to fly with a black pilot. Yet these are viral. There is a TON of objectionable stuff he actually SAID to damn him for, without my profession sullying itself with sloppiness.
When people supply ACTUAL QUOTES of what Kirk said, that's not "gross distortion".

This is worse than I realized. Apparently being informed that UC reported them as accused antisemites to the regime is how some people at Berkeley are finding out that they were accused of antisemitism in the first place. There was no adjudication.

This is simply untenable. There is no way forward with media and political classes captured by the right. Every time someone commits a crime you have to pray it's not an undesirable or it's purge time, then when it turns out to be themselves again they just shrug and wait for the next one.
