Today’s General Strike in Minnesota was so beautiful. The care that humans have towards one another in this time of unprecedented state cruelty gives me tremendous hope. As a society, we know how to draw lines in the sand. Don’t disappear our friends, family, and neighbors.

This is not a dunk whatsoever, but I wholeheartedly disagree with the first sentence. I'm old enough that a friend in my K class got polio and she ended up in a wheelchair for life. I think not vaccinating is akin to neglect like not feeding or clothing a child. And yes I have a kid.
I do think parents should absolutely have the right to choose not to vaccinate their kids.

I also think schools, sports teams, and other clubs or activities should absolutely have the right to exclude those who don’t want to participate in keeping these communities safe by getting vaccinated.

You don’t know your role yet maybe, but we are all finding out just what we have to offer.

In Minneapolis, one man knew immediately what he could offer and said “Bring me your clothing”.

I won't read a hundredth of the books I have in my to read pile, nor watch a portion of the films in my watchlist, nor listen to a decent amount of the music I know is out there waiting for me. We've got too little time and we've gotta connect with people through art and AI can't help with that
I made this thread to illustrate how much human made art exists and why I refuse to waste my time with AI generated stuff. Life is short, guys

Google: There Are Exactly 129,864,880 Books in the World"
