CHRIS Hickey has been appointed chief executive of Bristol-based charity Westcare, which helps people suffering from ME. There are 8-12,000 sufferers from ME, or chronic fatigue syndrome, in the former Avon area. Westcare provides counselling in Redland. Chris said: "CFS/ME is a very poorly understood condition and services are virtually non-existent. I see my role as helping to ensure the organisation can provide more comprehensive services."

As a person with decades of sobriety from hard drug use, I can attest that this is not the way most people who go to recovery meetings talk about recovery. And also, agree that it's not okay to mock addiction or recovery. It's ok to be deeply disturbed by his model of "recovery".

Wow. Literally just at hausarzt on Monday explaining I did not want to take statins. My reason was that I'm on plenty meds already and didn't want to add the risk (lol including the ones he doesn't know about like Metformin/IMC-2 equivalent). He was like ok. Now I'm so glad I didn't start them!

I dreamt I was back in St. Paul last night. In the early 90s I used to go to a bakery located where Nina's Coffee Cafe is now. According to mayor's office the victim in this attempted kidnapping is alive, in hospital. Will they kidnap them from hospital too?

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
