Will review the study in depth in the future.

But at face value this demonstrates how enhanced ventilation (clean air standards) alone is insufficient to prevent viral illness. Improvements - absolutely, but won’t mitigate it alone.

That instead we will need a layered mitigation approach.
Study noted that, ‘during community epidemics, SARSCoV2 genetic material was detected in hospital air despite good ventilation and enhanced protection with masks, vaccines, and portable air purifiers, may mitigate nosocomial transmission, including among staff.’

Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson has passed away at the age of 84. My thoughts are with his family.

I wanted to share this clip from his appearance on Sesame Street in 1971. His important words ring just as true today as they did back then.

Jesse Jackson was 26, the youngest person on that balcony when Dr King’s was murdered.

He spent the rest of his life keeping Dr King’s dream alive.

Thank you Jesse Jackson.

Love to his family and friends. 💔

💯 Most infectious‑disease, aerosol, and public‑health experts understand airborne transmission.
🤷 Public understanding lags due to:
fear of public backlash or policy implications
political & economic pressures
communication challenges
institutional inertia.

There is no treatment for measles, only the vaccination to prevent catching it. Being vaccinated is the best way to prevent getting sick with measles or spreading it to other people. The vaccine is safe and helps your body fight off the virus. States @who.int
