Charlotte, NC: After Trump's ICE fascists raided and arrested 130 people last weekend, this week students responded.

An estimated 30,000 students skipped class and walked out to protest these ICE fascists.

Young people leading the way to build a future committed to meaningful justice. Let's go.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

Scott Bessant says beef prices are high—not because Trump killed our beef trade with tariffs, not because Trump gave Argentina $40B, not because China is now buying Argentinian beef instead of American beef—but because migrants are illegally crossing the border & bringing their cows with them.😑

Glad to see Donald Trump's complete & total endorsement of my bill with Rep. Thomas Massie

I believe that by standing for principle, Americans will have your back & the mightiest will see the way. This is how we start to heal the chasm in our nation. Release the Epstein files!

I knew they blamed immigrants for everything, but I didn’t think they would blame immigrant cows for hamburger prices.

Remember: The concentration of wealth in the hands of a few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy.

When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, regular people don't have a voice.

The result? The demagoguery and corruption we're seeing now.

What sick dogshit place are we living in where "child sex trafficking and pedophilia" is an "issue" and not a "put everyone in jail and throw away the whole jail" situation
Enten: "Trump is 39 below water on the Epstein case. 39 points in the negative! My goodness gracious. What Trump has been selling on the Epstein files, the Epstein case, the American people have not been buying at all ... less than half of Republicans are buying it. This is his worst issue by far"

BREAKING: At Pope Leo XIV’s urging, U.S. Catholic bishops just delivered the strongest rebuke of a sitting president in Church history — condemning Trump-Vance raids as “inhumane” and “dehumanizing” in a 216–5 vote.
NEW: At Pope Leo’s Urging, Bishops Issue Historic Rebuke of Trump’s Raids
Nearly all U.S. Catholic bishops united in Baltimore to denounce the Trump administration’s “inhumane” deportation campaign — a near-unanimous, unprecedented moral stand against a sitting president.

I think Navarro said something very important here that people aren't picking up on.

His answer to Vittert's question was that when people blame Trump "he gets angry." What he meant was, "don't listen to him, he was just ranting, ignore that, he was angry, he didn't mean it."
VITTERT: What do you say to people struggling with higher prices?

NAVARRO: We feel your pain. We are literally doing everything we can.

VITTERT: But the president calls it a "con job." How can people think he feels their pain?

Sanders: Let’s be clear… If this vote succeeds, over 20 million Americans are going to see at least a doubling in their premiums… if resolution is passed tonight, we are on a path way to throw 15 million Americans off of medicaid and the affordable care act, 15 million.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
