This is a good thread and call to action for all of us healthcare workers out there. Sending to my nurse friends. Thank you @iwashyna.bsky.social
Friends, I stand by these references as a good place for would-be clinician-leaders to grow their skills for standing up and being counted

This is not the US govt you trained in, and health care cannot be excellent without rule of law + science

Some signs that a nation has gone rogue:

1. Withdrawing from financial support commitments to ally nations.
2. Threatening ally nations with invasion.
3. Invading other nations under thin pretense and stealing their resources.
4. Withdrawing from treaties of international cooperation.

Calling out misinformation is good
FWIW if Tim Walz was on whatever they call MSNBC now and said "The New York Times is printing lies about what happened in Minneapolis and I urge you to unsubscribe" a handful of the very specific people who actually care about somebody saying something like that would hear it
im sorry i know it sucks but journalists are going to have to be willing to get fired for simply describing what they see happening with their own eyes, you look like fucking morons

It’s like they always say…

Before enlightenment—chop wood, carry water
After enlightenment—chop wood, carry water

Modern translation…

Before revolution (around the sun, duh)—light incense, sweep floor
After revolution (yes, still around the sun)
