the implication here is that only robots or biological entities with brains incapable of forming opinions can definitionally be a "reporter." the opposite of leavitt, really, whose brain contains nearly all opinions but is incapable of logic.

One of the most fundamental problems for dealing w/ ICE is the GOP provided years of ICE agent funding in the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
No govt shutdown will end that funding stream, and there aren’t 2/3s votes in each chamber to rescind the funding & override a veto.
Means resistance is what we have.

This. I am done returning to the status quo of what got us here. I want universal healthcare. I want a maximum wage tied to the minimum wage. I want omnipresent, cheap public transit and walkable neighborhoods. I want Supreme Court and police reform, and I want the rich to pay their fair share.
We need to pick up this Overton Window and throw it as far as we can. Stop waiting for shit to “be popular” and start advocating for what is transparently right.
