Hey Megyn Kelly,

14-year-old Eloise would like a word:

because the minute adults start defending predators by defending the age of a child, you’re not protecting the truth, you’re protecting the predator.”

Funny how Trump wanted to appoint Matt Gaetz—a guy who groomed a homeless teen—as Attorney General to oversee the Epstein investigation, a case that implicates Trump himself.

I don't understand how you can both believe that your profession serves the public interest without also thinking it's important to hold yourself to standards of professional ethics. This precisely why I get *livid* when other defense attorneys aren't held accountable for misconduct.

There is only one reason Trump directed Bondi to investigate specific names in the Epstein files.

It’s so the DOJ can stonewall growing calls for their full release.

Not long ago, the DOJ declared there was nothing to investigate.

You are witness to the most blatant coverup in American history.

Her piece about Biden, which was itself badly written fiction, was itself a huge ethics scandal because her fuck boy was *running against him*
The piece quotes Kara Swisher — later identified as a friend of Nuzzi's — saying her piece about Biden's age was "the best political reporting out there."

But it wasn't! It came out two weeks after the debate and is just a bunch of anonymous quotes from insiders. Replacement-level stuff.

Yes! This is what I'm saying slightly differently - women's and girls' pain doesn't matter!

(@BeijingPalmer has had the best insight into this that I've seen.)
one of the underlying factors in all the Epstein stuff is that his correspondents - even the ones who likely did not participate in abuse themselves - are completely incapable of imagining his victims as people. he is real to them, the girls aren't.
I sometimes feel like they don’t want to end poverty or reduce inequality because they believe they’re entitled to a class of people they can prey upon
