If we're not at war, Pete Hegseth is a murderer. If we are at war, Pete Hegseth is still a murderer. He's a murderer. And you don't need to go to The Hague to hold him accountable because there are perfectly good, American laws AGAINST MURDER.

Pete Hegseth Should Be Charged With Murder
No matter how you look at the strikes on alleged “drug boats”—as acts of war or attacks on civilians—Hegseth has committed a crime and should be prosecuted.

It is so frustrating that Olivia Nuzzi joins a group of journalists who withhold info in the public interest for the sake of selling more books and newsletter subscriptions. It is galling she doesn't have an answer when asked about how this info could have affected his confirmation as HHS Secretary.

No-strings-attached, zero-means-testing, no-questions-asked cash payouts have been proven, over and over again, to be the most effective form of charity/aid going.

It gets people in housing, and it saves the state money. We know this. It's fact, not theory.
An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.

Dam, always get envious when people start posting their spotify shit. Don't really do music that much, mostly on youtube and even when I drive, I let my kids do it. They don't have spotify either.

What I wish is that I could post my podcast list because there would be some minutes listened to!

I mean, the video is chopped up and edited but still, she opens with "smart, well educated young people" and then continues, they don't know history. i guess when you receive a fee for appearance, maybe you also receive a stump or some guidelines as to what to say.
Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

There should be an independent review of these projected numbers. Or at least a 6 month trial with like police at all turnstiles. I bet a whole bunch of those who jump, wouldn't ride anyway so it's not really a lost revenue. I also bet that MTA is leaking money elsewhere and this is just a fog.
You've probably seen them in the subway: spiky partitions, halfmoon hurdles on the turnstiles and a patrol of guards by the emergency doors (with a 15-sec delay). Take a closer look at how the MTA hopes to cut down its $1B fare evasion problem

One of the biggest impacts I’ve seen from the unproven idea that people are wrongfully using disability accommodations is that people stop trusting people with disabilities and in fact further restrict, remove, and demonize accommodations for people with disabilities in general

Here's something weird my neighbor Cassie pointed out: Chapter 42 of Cynthia Erivo's recently released book "Simply More" is almost verbatim words spoken by Ariana Grande in an interview a year ago. Grande is not cited or listed as a contributor or attributed in the book in any way. Weird!
