Oh, just the usual Republican platform: they want to sexually abuse children, and they want you to pay for it.
This is not transparency with the American people

There is no "Initial Release" of the files, as the law requires that ALL the files be released "no later than 30 days."

They are breaking the law.

Yes, but it’s not a “nuclear option.” It’s the most basic, obvious, conventional option available if you want to actually do something effective. The fact that they’re not immediately promising it en masse tells us something, and that something is not good.
WATCH-- Former AG Eric Holder says Congress should consider impeachment for the DOJ officials responsible for holding back the Epstein files: “That's a nuclear option that Congress has.”

Did Trump’s DOJ really think dropping hundreds of blacked-out pages counted as complying with the law?

I know it’s a bunch of unqualified folks with no backbone over there, but this is next-level.

Congress demanded Jack Smith testify about his investigations, but kept him behind closed doors during his sworn deposition. If we care about transparency, then Congress should release the transcript. My thoughts in Bloomberg.

Release the Jack Smith Deposition Transcript
This week, former special counsel Jack Smith finally had the chance to speak about the findings of his investigation into President Donald Trump. It’s a shame the public couldn't hear him.

Trump is attempting to rename the Kennedy Center for the Arts after himself.

Why is he so obsessed with taking over our museums, arts, and cultural institutions?

It’s all part of his attack on the American mind. https://youtu.be/rEH7sF6pA4s?si=5Jm9lpy7P6prWCpi

He's lying. How do we know?

Because they released the Sept 2nd video already!! Just not the part where they illegally killed the survivors. There's nothing "top secret" about the second strike if there wasn't anything top secret about the first one.
Hegseth on the second Sept 2 strike: "Of course we're not going to release a top secret full unedited of that to the general public"

Tonight's shamelessly stupid speech is a reminder that this is true. Donald Trump is monumentally stupid. And he is, clearly, on [sniff] something.
There is no question that Donald Trump is the worst person to have ever been elected president. But I think a case can be made that he is the worst person to ever have become famous.

As Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis stated in 1933; “We can have democracy in this country or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of the few, but we cannot have both.”

Today, at a time of unprecedented income & wealth inequality, his words ring truer than ever.
