I’m relistening to The Revolutions podcast again, and I had forgotten how fucking insufferable so many people in the English Civil Wars were. Obviously Charles II tops the list, but Arthur Haselrig and the whole rump parliament needed to be pushed off a cliff. The most annoying people imaginable
