I am amazed at how amazed people are that male police officers let women down time and time again and protect each other

The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

If the next election is too close to call at this point, with the absolute casserole of clusterfuckery that is the current, Luxon-led, govt, then I strongly suggest that Labour get their heads out of their arses and DO SOMETHING
Realistically, given the margin of error in this poll and the effect of overhangs, all we can really say is that, right now, the next election is too close to call.

Let the people who actually want to serve do so. Government should not be a way to enrich oneself.

I think a lot would be fixed in short order if people in congress had to live on the same resources as a median income family of four from their state for a year.

Granted, I am not in the US, but even 30 years mortgages are too much. I am 47, there is no way I am going to work past retirement, with barely a cent to my name that whole time because of mortgage repayments.
Fiance and I are going to get a tiny house that we can pay off in 10 years.
