I’m so grateful for the whistle crew’s prodigious fundraising because we’re able to give $300 to the bond fund for the dad of one of the kids at my local school. He’s been detained for months in Michigan, away from his family. He was also their sole breadwinner.

here's the thing about this - nobody is ever responsible for this because the frost and PWHL will launder all of it through curl's on-ice performance. everyone involved expected it to be a non-issue because transphobia isn't considered a "real concern" among most of these people.
