I played through this over the last two days and it is -excellent-. It‘s immersive, fascinating. The attention to detail is impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and even after finishing woke up this morning wanting to try something new just to see how they handled it.

inkle's next game is in production now, since inception three weeks ago.

It's about academic wizards who use modified Enigma machines to cast spells. There's a maze. It is, of course, a parable about gen AI.

The name is two characters followed by two digits to spell a word.

Sort of a review - sort of our first piece of fan art? Also; gorgeous.

“It reminds us we do not need to be told what to think…”
Trying this new thing where I get my thoughts about a game out while the game is still kind of sort of in the conversation instead of eight months from now.

Short version: @inkle.co absolutely killed it, between this, Overboard!, and Heaven's Vault, they've got certified range. Check out TR-49!
