At this point, I’m not sure who’s mapping whom.

A scale model of a boat — composite, hybrid, labyrinthine.
Inspired by the chébec, infused with fragments of other eras and cultures.
This vessel is part of a much larger story.

My homage to Hokusai’s iconic print, now included in the upcoming exhibition “Japanese Fantasies in the Time of Félicien Rops” at the Félicien Rops Museum in 2025–2026.
Honored to be part of it.

The Love of Bastet — oil on paper, 2022

A tribute to The Tomb of Böcklin by the German Symbolist painter Ferdinand Keller.
A dimly lit, symbolist-style painting titled The Love of Bastet, created in oil on paper in 2022. The scene shows a small, illuminated temple-like structure at the edge of dark, dreamlike cliffs. A red sail, reminiscent of a funeral barque, rises diagonally into the shadows, hinting at an unseen vessel.
