100% yes -- Homan signaled a shift in the suburbs, and it was to (more) aggression towards observers, (more) stalking kids at bus stops, (more) lurking on school grounds.

Also: 2,300 ICE agents is still almost exactly the number of local police officers from the ten largest police forces in Minnesota COMBINED. As such, can report there's been no change on the ground today in my community.
This Homan presser is completely incoherent. He started by announcing a drawdown of 700 agents (good!) but then pivoted to whining about "rhetoric" (bad) and suggested there will be more bloodshed if it doesn't stop (grim). Not clear to me that anything is actually changing on the ground here in MN.

Pardon my conspiracies, but it really seems like the DFL is/was actively working to avoid a sample ballot result that would embarrass the Senior Senator. She waited to get in. They didn't distribute ballots, and they still have not released the results.

This isn't unusual. I've seen metro districts with 90%+ uncommitted delegates. People know Klobuchar's record on ICE & Trump judges. She's a paper tiger - all the fundraising imaginable, but no grassroots enthusiasm.
We just need ONE (1) slightly audacious DFL politician willing to challenge her.

Our precinct's DFL gubernatorial straw poll results: 1 Erin Murphy, 1 "anyone but Amy," 14 Klobuchar and 20 uncommitted. This from a predictably centrist dfl stronghold. Big opening for someone.

Observers all over are bad ass but I give so much respect to those in the burbs and greater Minnesota who have less widespread community support compared to those in the cities and inner ring burbs.
We will win. ICE OUT.

Most of the footage you see from ICE observers in Minnesota comes from the core cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. I talked to observers in the northern suburbs, who say they're taking on the same mission in very different conditions. (1)
