After ICE release St. Paul woman, she says agents keep returning to her home
Thi Dua Vang legally came to the U.S. two years ago. So when ICE showed up, she thought it must have been a mistake.

This movement probably has the greatest message discipline of any in my lifetime and that message is super fucking simple. Abolish ICE. Honestly abolish ALL of DHS.

Listen man, we know lack of video evidence isn’t the real issue here.

This was something DHS didn’t want to do a week ago and now they’re doing it because we put pressure on them! KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!!

Ok. I’ll agree with that. If you can’t count on the government or the police forces what is there? You all are protesting and that’s getting people killed. I’m not being snarky here ok? I
Just want to know what can be done if there’s no help from anywhere? People can only do so much.

A new poll finds that 1 in 4 Minnesota voters took part in the Jan 23 shutdown against ICE, or have a loved one who did. Of those, 38% DID NOT WORK, either because they made the choice to stay out, or their workplaces closed. By me, @thomasbirm.bsky.social, @bloomekatz.bsky.social

Yup, I think "undecided - abolish ICE" will be a popular sub-caucus
Caucus night is tomorrow. My strategy for caucuses: advocate for a cause, rather than a candidate. Creating or joining an “Uncommitted - ICE Out” subcaucus makes it clear to any candidate what they must do to earn my support.

I can’t read this unsolicited letter from the Strib with anything but sarcasm

a lot of words to say “we know you’ll eventually die off, but in the meantime we’ll pretend to care about printing that paper you’ve already paid for”

There are times when it would be better to say nothing at all.

So they can manipulate their own videos perhaps? Harder to do with videos taken by observers that are given to the press before the feds see them

This part is just embarrassing. If you're not showing up to this meeting with anything, then you could have held this exact same meeting six weeks ago. I can be a horrendous procrastinator and even I think this is ridiculous. #WNBA

ICE is still here, surrounding schools in Columbia Heights today after Liam was returned.

Noem announced that ICE will be issued body cameras. This shows that we’re winning & that we can’t let up. Let your representatives know you don’t support funding ICE and that they need to leave immediately.

If you haven’t had to stand outside a school to protect the kids in your neighborhood or chase a vehicle out of your neighborhood trying to abduct someone please do not lecture me and my community about who we get to ‘rail against’. The Dems could shut DHS down tomorrow but lack spines.
You need to realize who the true enemy of the people is here and stop railing against the few who are trying to reinstate our freedoms.

That means ~815k Minnesotans participated in the shutdown and ~310k in the strike. That would make Minnesota’s January 23 general strike one of the largest in history.

Bodycams are useful at trial.

But the crime has already been committed at that point.

Someone's dead. Or injured. Or degraded, stalked, abused, raped, assaulted, tortured.

And you can't take that back.

This is not a solution to the unchecked inhumanity of ICE. #AbolishICE #FuckICE
