Star Trek has been associated with being the inspiration for many things but I'm not sure many folks realize the impact it made on endangered humpbacks.

The 20th anniversary illustrated edition of A Feast For Crows seems to be packed with AI art. Given that GRRM is currently in a lawsuit against Open AI, I imagine he was not aware of this.

The real lesson is to put an actual hard number on income categories instead of shit like "the top 10%." People ALWAYS massively overestimate what percentile they're in, but a hard number for comparison lets them say oh yeah, fuck the rich, I ain't ever gonna see that number in my life.

First, many SNAP recipients have jobs. They’re just living below the poverty line because of tremendous wealth inequality.
Second, many are disabled and children and can’t work.
