Schumer should have stepped aside five years ago but letting this happen is *bad* for party unity and that's at least the second most important part of his job.
“If Schumer really wanted to use his considerable influence and leverage to stop this, he could have done that,” a senior Democratic Senate aide tells Zeteo. “He didn’t.”
Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

Right, it would ban and criminalize virtually all hemp-derived products currently on the market. Incredibly reckless to destroy a growing industry with more than 300,000 workers with no hearings or debate of any kind in Congress.

Fun fact: big alcohol (distributors) have roots in organized crime. When prohibition ended, some of the bootleg networks and mobsters went "legit" by simply converting their supply chains. It's one of the few segments where you have to use a distributor in order to sell to retail.

Dem Senators aren't for us unless they're for removing Chuck Schumer. Now is the time to highlight corruption in the Dem caucus and clean house.
Too many Senate Dems are bought and paid for and will fuck us and our entire democracy for their greed and the dark $$ that controls them.

It's NOAA.. for now
In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.
The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.
The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.
Why?
It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

So we asked all 40 Democratic senators who didn’t cave to Republicans if they still think Schumer is the right leader.
Here's what they said.

1. We need to fight hard for a good ACA extension early in December and hold Republicans fiercely accountable if they betray everyone.
