One thing I’m not gonna do, is add news folks to my feed. So Rupar and Acyn…not gonna have y’all Debbie Downer my feed 😂
Phil Lewis, you can stay.
Phil Lewis, you can stay.
Everyone can skeet what they want, but I’m probably going to curate my feed quite a bit differently over here. I love everyone, but if your skeets aren’t the vibe I want, I’m going to mute you. I still love you, feel free to DM.

Get ready to learn medical loss ratios buddy
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Don't call the cops on someone in a mental health crisis unless you want them dead.

Many feel betrayal and frustration, and the feelings are hot right now.
I get it. I have my own feelings.

But how does this make me, the main character of this whole thing, feel morally and intellectually superior?
Endlessly screenshot-dunking on Twitter idiots is annoying your followers and keeping the idiots famous. Whenever you feel like doing it, you should take a minute, breathe, and then approvingly share something I've written instead

I was raised the type of Baptist that teaches you that doing the hardest thing is always the most godly thing so I married my uniquely gifted nemesis.
We all have someone for whatever reason is uniquely gifted to be our nemesis
And whether it be emotional proximity… our just good old fashioned know how
They are good at owning you
For Elon Musk… that person is Joyce Carol Oates

Aww, Nate thinks we’re still social distancing because everyone refuses to be within 6’ of him.

I think they’re also afraid of chipping away at anything they indoctrinated republican voters on. When you start that train down the tracks you don’t know where it might stop.
I should write the argument up properly somewhere, but I think this is fundamentally wrong. A decisive fraction of the capitalist class does oppose addressing the climate crisis, but *not* because it would be bad for profits. If anything, a green New Deal type program would raise aggregate profits.
Yes, this is correct. And the reason is because our capitalist classes have decided that it is not sufficiently profitable, so they're not going to do it.
We must understand this reality. Capital *cannot* be relied upon to address the climate crisis.

shout out to men on the subway with ereaders. you may not get the attention men with physical books get for some reason but i appreciate that you're signaling to the world "moving apartments is a lot easier for me"

The same thing that happened to vehicles when they made 7 & 8 year auto loans will happen to houses with 50 year mortgages. People are shopping monthly payments, and if you spread it out over a longer term, the price will increase to the max people can afford per month.
It’s no way people are stupid enough to agree with a 50 Year Mortgage….
That won’t help housing prices. It’ll make cash flowing a mortgage easier, but it’ll only make housing more expensive.

Just thought of a scam where you could cheat the government out of DOZENS of dollars and they’d probably never catch you.

I wonder what you’d have to say on air to throw off Jim Nantz.
According to Tony Romo, the Patriots are "DTF."
DETAILS. TOUGHNESS. And they FINISH.
Why, what else do you think he meant?

There will be some "Wow you can't make these people happy" sentiment but what's really happening is the Dems are beginning to reap the consequences of not really believing in anything. Choreographed maneuvers, too clever by half talking points. People have just had it

Agree.
Sen Hassan, asked what will happen if Republicans don't carry out the deal, "Well, shame on them."
This is not what people were mobilizing for on Oct 18.

One reason I don't think it's useful to argue about the correct tactics for Democrats to win elections is winning elections isn't enough. They've won the presidency 5 out of 9 times since 1992 and where are we now. The question is how we create something better than a dead cat bounce party

The awesome thing is that the democrats in the senate surrendered and when Joe Dickhead finds out about it tomorrow he’s going to assume that means the democrats were the ones responsible for shutting the government down. Great work you fucking losers.
