i think the real answer is "don't be president when two back to back global supply chain implosions happen"
would love to hear AOC talk about where and why Bidenism failed both abroad and at home, and how she thinks we can do different
this is lowkey the posturing of bidenism abroad

This is why we need to outlaw the word ‘neoliberalism’ until people are willing to give it an actual policy definition
Neo-liberalism is the status quo. Biden did not ditch the status quo. If these extra things he did besides maintaining the status quo count towards “ditching neo-liberalism” then neo-liberalism was ditched during George H.W. Bush.

Either way, Biden did not “ditch neo-liberalism”.

you have to treat people like this with the same seriousness as you would a guy screaming at you about the lizard people on the street; they have a similar relationship with reality.
there would be no real concrete effects of an AOC presidency that would be materially different from a JD Vance presidency because they all work for the capitalist ruling class and not for us, yes including AOC. we don't need a different president we need a dictatorship of the proletariat.
This is about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

My earnest advice to you is to stop worrying about labels like "liberal" and "conservative" and think about the immediate, concrete, REAL effects of, say, an AOC presidency vs. A JD Vance presidency

Public health should never be politicized — and the courts agreed tonight.

Donald Trump's attack on Illinoisans was just blocked by a temporary restraining order.

We will continue to check his abuses of power and win against this President.
Donald Trump is stripping critical public health funding with one goal in mind: harming states he doesn’t like.

It’s a slap in the face to Illinoisans.

We will not stand by idly as Trump illegally cancels the Congressionally-allocated funding we are owed.
Illinois AG sues to prevent Trump admin. from cutting $600M in public health funds from 4 states
Illinois' attorney general is suing to block the Trump administration from cutting public health funding. Among the $600 million in cuts would be a $5.2 million program at Lurie Children's Hospital.

Lol. You’re equating criticism of the state of Israel with antisemitism. You know what you’re doing and why you get criticism.

I liked it when I saw Walz calling Republicans “weird” all the time and they seemed on the back foot about it. But 1) it stopped being novel, so it didn’t matter how much they still said it (they did keep saying it), it wouldn’t get as much play, and 2) if it had, it would have felt old and stale
If I’d seen “weird” constantly on my TL for 3 months it would have made everything good and I definitely wouldn’t have started complaining that it seems like this “weird” thing was all they had to say.
