Haven't had much chance to get out to do photography this year, what with the stinky little orc that lives in my house now. But, this is maybe my favourite series of pictures so far, taken back in June!

I think the 90% of the BBC that isn't news and current affairs has real value, does things that can't or won't be done by a normal media company, and we'll miss it when it's gone.
But the news and current affairs are bad enough in every way that I can't actually justify defending it overall.

Weird quirk about being from Yorkshire and living away is that people seem to think that we care about their opinion on Yorkshire Tea. It comes up surprisingly often for me. I don't care. Yorkshire Tea is shite anyway.

Massively reduced my social media consumption (deleted TikTok, deleted Reddit, uninstalled YouTube, put a timer on Instagram for 10 minutes, only check Facebook for nursery updates, barely check here) and I really hate how much it has improved my mental health. I'm also actually reading books again.

Hi. It's me. 2 weeks later. This is done. 58 frames over 3 seconds, *50* layers in the final image. WOO. This was a long edit, felt like ACTUAL work so unless I get it again with the actual sunset I doubt I'll be editing more like this. Psyched for the final piece tho! 🪶

Turning Point USA made a literal watch list of professors, primarily women, queer folks and people of color, and made us targets of political violence. I’ve received hate mail and harassment and death threats off and on for nearly a decade in part due to that man’s organization so 🤷🏽♀️
