The Blackout Report is a comprehensive analysis by @esosaosa.bsky.social & @theonyximpact.bsky.social on the real-world cost of erasing, distorting, and suppressing Black progress.

This disinformation campaign is designed to seize illegitimate power and control, using “DEI” to justify harm.

Don’t believe the hype, the federal government is still terrorizing Minnesotans.

“Some people may have breathed a sigh of relief when Bovino was pulled and replaced by Homan, but many educators did not,” one teachers’ union leader said. “The agenda is still the same.”

Jesus tapdancing Christ. It's long past time for Democrats to accept that respectability politics are dead as a doornail, and we will consistently lose the game if we don't play ball.

In a chaotic world where Black journalists are arrested for reporting the news, local journalism should be critical infrastructure that holds authority to account — not a casualty of corporate consolidation.

If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.

Democracy dies in oligarchy.

quick, someone tell the Baileys so they can get through to Schumer
These numbers are simply incredible. It's very clear that most ordinary people have figured out that ICE is not remotely functioning as a law enforcement agency any longer and that none of this is about enforcing the law in any recognizable sense.

I just ran the numbers, and the cumulative cost of my active treatment for breast cancer before insurance was nearly $425,000.

Happy World Cancer Day to me! 🫠

I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

I didn’t know Dan but I always loved his work.

As someone who just wrapped up active treatment for breast cancer and will always live with that worry of recurrence, reading about fellow young cancer patients leaving too soon cuts deep.

Fuck cancer.

It is vitally important that Democrats (and the media) frame this properly. If the government gets shutdown it is because the GOP insists on DHS, ICE and CBP continuing to occupy American cities and trample the rights of US citizens.
EISEN: Don't you think Democrats are tapping into something in the mood of the country when it comes to the funding of ICE?

BESSENT: President Trump has brought down the temperature on the situation. He is urging them not to shut down the government.

Someone create a Polymarket bet about Chuck Schumer being forced out of his position as Senate Minority Leader, and place bets on which Dem will replace him.

Our journo-class is so X/Twitter-pilled, they'll assume this is based on some scoop, cover it, and it'll manifest into Schumer leaving.

You can always count on the Dem-aligned media and consultant class to "invent" programming and tools that independent creators have been toiling away at for years.

I'll stick to QAA, Rm Brown, and the Majority Report's occasional coverage of the right-wing podcast-sphere, thanks!
