It's official: The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is shutting down.

It may take years of organizing to rebuild what the Trump regime has demolished.

That fight starts now: https://www.freepress.net/news/end-corporation-public-broadcasting-must-rebuild-americas-public-media-system

In recent months, there have been questions about whether the Corporation of Public Broadcasting would go into "hibernation" -- biding its time in case new funding eventually became available. That won't happen. The board of the CPB has voted to dissolve the organization.

"Sanitizing King's legacy is a deliberate act. It erases what King fought for — economic equality, and opposition to the Vietnam War — in the years following his speech. It also obscures the U.S. government's campaign to destroy King afterward."
