A thing people don’t know that may underlie this decision: a “professional degree” gives a Canadian or a Mexican a right to a TN visa, which allows you to show up at the border with your diploma and a job offer and get a visa on the spot. That may be what’s going on here.
In case you missed it: The DoEd has proposed a new definition of "professional degrees," reducing the list from roughly 2,000 programs to fewer than 600. This change limits loan accessibility for though no longer considered professional, in particular, many healthcare degrees 🧵

I get why people who make stuff don't like it when leakers reveal something in a way the creators don't want their work represented. The leads don't look bad I think the shot just isn't an exciting one.
