@aoc.bsky.social says of Mamdani victory: "A lot of people...are willing to talk about party unity when it serves them, but not party unity when it serves everybody."

"We have a future to fight for, and we're either going to do that together or you're going to be left behind."

Awful news that Kaleb Horton died. A talented writer who in another time would've been getting $5 a word with an expense account. Read his skilled filleting of the Entourage movie web.archive.org/web/20150605...

People are like “we’re gonna realize having phones in schools are like cigarettes in school” but AI is like “we’re gonna realize this was like force feeding kids lead paint chips”
Remember how if a kid choked on a little plastic toy they used to stop selling the toy
Something about the two stories about ChatGPT's involvement in suicides/murder that came out this week that really stuck out to me: OpenAI basically has a boilerplate response when their product gets people killed.

I love this so much.
Since I've been on bluesky awhile it's time to share my favorite show pitch idea: Cathy, set in the 80s when the comic strip focused on the titular Cathy's life as a hectic 30-something office worker trying to juggle her career and personal life 👩‍💼
