HELLO

Every elected should be acting like a community organizer/mutual aid organizer all the damn time in 2026.
realizing that democrats could be using their ginormous fundraising apparatus to send out links to rent funds or even, hell, frontline orgs is just so annoying

This is the only way forward.
I was actually surprised earlier today, as I got an email from Elizabeth Warren with fundraising asks to help orgs in MN. (With no included asks for fundraising for herself/other dems.)

Was the first time I'd seen anything like that from a rep, hope it won't be the last. Needs to be more of that.

Unfriendly reminder, AI is being used to destroy trust. Do not normalize the use of AI. AI can not reliably enhance videos or low-quality images.

This is the quiet replacement of reality. Do not let this be normalized.

So, my Cintiq 21UX just stopped working at around 2:00 AM, today. Stopped recognizing pen input, refused to function as anything other than a monitor.

This has happened before. Twice. And if it happens to you, it's fixable.

Here's how.

Sometimes you look at Democrats and think "You've spent so long accepting lesser evils that you don't even consider anymore if you have to accept an evil at all."

I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work.

I don’t let bullies win.

Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

Kelly Marie Tran is a genuinely gutsy person.
You’ve got to love how actress Kelly Marie Tran, one of the most harassed people ever to be on the internet, still leapt up to defend trans people in a recent interview. No one would blame her for keeping her head down and shutting up forever but she will NOT and I admire her for it ⭐

This is so important because A) she did it in response to Benedict Wong, a far more prominent actor, saying he's listening to the audiobooks a lot and B) did it unprompted, she specifically stopped the fluff interview to draw the comparison to the themes of their film and support trans people.

Facts. The playbook is older than all of us.

"Black people don't ACTUALLY want to be treated as equals, they're just Soviet-trained commie agitators" used to be the line.

The more it looks like the authoritarian regime is unstoppable, the less likely people are to try to stop it. It more fragile it looks, the more people will make efforts to stop it. This is why the regime is trying so hard to appear strong and indomitable. Make it look fragile. It is fragile.

23 Americans can end this. Can we persuade them?
Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.

This country would evaporate within 48 hours without nurses and I genuinely hope y'all do it.
I am seeing quite a few nurses calling for a nationwide strike over the killing of Alex Pretti. I think we are seeing one of the largest workforces being radicalized before our very eyes.

Must be confusing for him that regular Minnesotans are more competent at safeguarding our neighbors than ICE is at literally anything
James O'Keefe says he's never seen anything so organized as the anti-ICE movement, observers--he seems to think this term is code--everywhere he goes. Who is paying for it??? he demands to know. It's like he can't even imagine people caring for one another.

"I am a children's entertainer who specializes in face painting," writes a woman now in hiding from the federal government for witnessing a state-sanctioned street execution
You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.
